Aaron B. Fairchild is originally from California, but moved with his family to Utah at a young age. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2005 and then returned to his native Southern California to attend law school at Western State University. In law school, he was a published author in the law review and a member of the Dean’s circle. He also spent a semester working as a legal extern under Justice King of the California Court of Appeals in Riverside. After graduating in 2009, he decided to remain in California to pursue his career.
Mr. Fairchild passed the bar in 2009 and worked at a boutique business and real estate litigation firm for five years. His practice has focused on business and real estate litigation, probate administration, trust litigation, and creditor-side bankruptcy representation. Mr. Fairchild is attentive to detail, sensitive to client concerns, and takes pride in his work. He believes attorneys should not only be advocates but also practical problem-solvers and resolution facilitators. At Morten & Fairchild, Mr. Fairchild manages the firm’s litigation portfolio and assists as needed in transactional matters.
Outside the office, Mr. Fairchild enjoys cooking, yoga, reading, and winter sports. He also enjoys volunteering as a “Big Brother” in the Orange County Big Brother Big Sister organization. Mr. Fairchild returns to Utah several times a year to see his family, including his quickly growing nephews.
